Alison Jones

Alison Jones MNZM is a professor at Te Puna Wānanga, School of Māori and Indigenous Education, at Waipapa Taumata Rau The University of Auckland. She is Pākehā, born to English immigrant parents in Auckland, 1953. Her most recent books include Tuai: A Traveller in Two Worlds (with Kuni Kaa Jenkins), Ockham New Zealand Book Award winner, and This Pākehā Life: An Unsettled Memoir (Ockham finalist). Her abiding interest is in the complexities, ambivalences and pleasures of Māori-Pākehā relationships.
