Catharina van Bohemen

Catharina is a writer, editor, and teacher who lives in Auckland. She has taught secondary and university students, and for the last four years, a group of women, on the permutations of ‘family’ in fiction, beginning with Austen’s Mansfield Park (1814) and most recently A Children’s Bible by Lydia Millet (2020). Towards Compostela – Walking the Camino de Santiago, with drawings by Gregory O'Brien, was published in 2020, was longlisted in the 2021 Ockham Book Awards, and won a PANZ Design Award.
