Melanie Drewery (Ngāti Mahanga) works as a writer and potter from her home in Ruby Bay. She is the author of over twenty children’s books, including the much loved Nanny Mihi series. Most of Melanie’s stories have Māori content and all are firmly rooted in Aotearoa.
