Paul Adamson was brought up in the South Wairarapa where being away all day from about age 8, with mates biking 16km to the lake to fish, eel, crawlie hunt, build campfires and biking home in the dark was a rite of passage. In the maimai with his two sons, three nephews, a brother and three labradors is Paul’s idea of heaven. Paul describes his book Get Outdoors as quite literally a springboard into the outdoors. He says having fun with activities outside by yourself, with friends or family is a great vehicle for happiness.
