Rob Kennedy

Rob Kennedy is part of the new wave of conservationists who mesh caring for nature through making use of native plants with consideration and respect. As well as being a significant technical and creative challenge, using paper making as a vehicle to manage and develop conservation revegetation projects aligns another culturally relevant craft practice with traditional Māori values and approaches for protecting and growing endemic biodiversity. Additionally the fibre rich plants of Aotearoa New Zealand make beautiful papers and contribute to the growing movement of a native plant economy.
